Brunch With Bryce Brings DW Bistro Vibes to La Strega

A year after the closure of DW Bistro, one of Las Vegas’ most beloved off-Strip restaurants is making a limited return—at least in spirit.

La Strega chef Gina Marinelli is teaming up with DW co-founder Bryce Krausman for a four-week brunch series in May, dubbed “Brunch With Bryce.” The collaboration brings together Marinelli’s Italian-driven kitchen with the hospitality and brunch sensibility that made DW a local favorite.

“It’s [me] and Bryce coming together,” Marinelli said during a recent interview on the Food and Loathing podcast. “When I think of brunch, I think of Bryce… I couldn’t ask for a better partner.”

For Krausman, the project is also a chance to reconnect with the community he built over more than a decade at DW Bistro, which developed a loyal following for its distinctive blend of Jamaican and Southwestern flavors.

“I miss the thousands of people that I would actually interact with on a monthly basis,” he said.

The brunch will run on Sundays in May at La Strega, with a menu that blends DW-inspired elements with Marinelli’s own style—think reimagined classics, brunch cocktails, and a lively, DJ-driven atmosphere reminiscent of DW’s peak years. The first two dates have already sold out, with limited availability remaining for the final two Sundays. Reservations can be made through La Strega’s website or OpenTable.
