Tapia brings more than 15 years of experience in high-level kitchens, including CUT by Wolfgang Puck, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and multiple concepts at The Venetian. His background spans fine dining, Italian cuisine, and high-volume steakhouses, aligning with the restaurant’s focus on steaks, seafood, and seasonal dishes.

He replaces Ellie Parker, who is leaving Las Vegas for a new role at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant at Foxwoods in Connecticut, following her win on Hell’s Kitchen: Battle of the States.

Owner-operator Kim Owens opened Main St. Provisions in December 2020, amid COVID restrictions. Despite the challenging circumstances, the restaurant helped lead the Arts District’s emergence as one of Las Vegas’ top culinary destinations.
