What Is Wynn Revelry? The Las Vegas Culinary Festival, Explained

Las Vegas has no shortage of food festivals. But there aren’t many where Thomas Keller might serve you at a buffet, acclaimed chefs cook on a lawn overlooking the Sphere, and some of the culinary world’s biggest names offer master classes, demonstrations and intimate dining experiences.

That’s the basic idea behind Wynn Revelry by Chef’s Table, returning to Wynn Las Vegas September 18-20. Now in its third year, Revelry is Wynn’s signature culinary festival. This year, the resort’s culinary team has partnered with Chef’s Table, the brand behind the Emmy Award-winning Netflix series, to assemble a lineup of more than 30 chefs from around the world.

“Revelry is an amazing weekend where Wynn celebrates food and excellence and brings in top-tier talent from around the world and throughout the United States,” Mizumi’s Executive Chef Jeff Ramsey recently told Food And Loathing. “It is just party after party — food, shows. We have master classes, we have demos, we have tastings, we have talks, and it’s just an amazing time to be in Vegas.”

What Chef’s Table Brings To Wynn’s Tables

If you’ve watched Chef’s Table, you know the series is as interested in the people and stories behind great restaurants as it is in what’s on the plate. Ramsey says that approach takes this year’s Revelry to a new level.

“Chef’s Table, what they really do well is tell the stories behind the food, behind the people, the soul of a chef,” he says.

At Revelry, he continues, guests will be able to “see the stories, hear the stories and then taste the food right afterward.”

And there are some serious storytellers on the bill. The announced roster includes Thomas Keller, Marcus Samuelsson, Nina Compton and Rodolfo Guzmán, as well as Wynn Las Vegas chefs including recently crowned James Beard Award winner Sarah Thompson of Casa Playa.

You Don’t Need A Package To Attend

There are several ways to enjoy Revelry. Some experiences are available individually. Others require purchasing one of several packages that unlock increasingly exclusive events throughout the weekend.

For an à la carte experience, Revelry offers two standalone events at three different price points.

The least expensive is The Feast, Revelry’s Saturday night centerpiece, with general admission tickets available for $295 plus taxes and fees, and a $600 VIP experience that provides early access and admission to a Chef + Celebrity Cookoff. And then there’s the $1,000 Icons Buffet.

A $1,000 Buffet?

Yes, a thousand-dollar buffet. But it goes well beyond the crab legs and carving stations that made Strip buffets famous.

The Icons Buffet reimagines the Vegas tradition with Champagne, extravagant presentations and some extremely serious culinary talent.

“Where else can you go to a buffet and have Thomas Keller hand you some food?” Ramsey asks. “It’s going to be amazing.”

Ramsey says guests should expect fresh food, elaborate displays and considerably more interaction and energy than a conventional buffet.

The Feast Is The Big Party

If there’s one event that captures the scale of Revelry, it may be The Feast, held Saturday night on Wynn’s Event Pavilion and Lawn alongside the golf course.

Rather than simply lining chefs up around a ballroom or swimming pool, The Feast creates separate culinary environments across the grounds. Previous editions have included everything from dancers and live entertainment to Ramsey breaking down a massive tuna in front of the crowd.

This year, the experience is organized around the elements of air, earth, water and fire, with participating chefs including Guzmán, Thompson, Serigne Mbaye, Álvaro Clavijo, Alejandro Chamorro and others.

And there’s one seemingly small detail that veterans of large food festivals may appreciate: you can actually sit down. Seating will be plentiful because, as Ramsey says, “If you’re walking around the entire time with a glass and a little canapé on it, you’re not doing much eating or drinking.”

For serious food fans who want more than the standalone events, Wynn offers several packages that open the door to smaller, more exclusive experiences taking place throughout the weekend. These include intimate master classes, live demonstrations, hands-on tastings, and behind-the-scenes experiences that offer access to the techniques and ideas of participating chefs.

Ramsey points to a collaboration between Casa Playa’s Sarah Thompson and Boragó chef Rodolfo Guzmán as one he’s personally excited to see. Other programming ranges from pastry demonstrations and mixology classes to lessons on cooking the perfect steak.

The Chef’s Table Package starts at $1,500 and includes the Icons Dinner and VIP access to The Feast. The $2,150 Legends Package adds more access, including a Revelry Revealed experience and Sunday’s Grand Revelry Brunch. And for those who want everything, there’s the $3,500 Ultimate Off Menu Package, which includes the weekend’s broadest collection of dinners, parties and culinary experiences. (If that last one sounds good to you, you’ll have to start planning for 2027, because those packages are already sold out this year.)

Still Growing

For Ramsey, who has watched Revelry evolve over its first three years, the ambition is far bigger than creating another busy culinary weekend in Las Vegas.

“I think Revelry, still in its infancy now, the third year going, can rival any of the other food festivals that are out there anywhere in the world,” he says.

And Wynn and Chef’s Table are clearly thinking beyond a single weekend. This year’s Revelry marks the beginning of a multi-year partnership between the two brands.
