Ferraro’s Brings Back Summer in Italy Prix Fixe Menu

As temperatures rise in Las Vegas, Ferraro’s Ristorante is once again inviting diners to slow down and savor the flavors of the season.

Beginning June 15 and continuing through August 23, the landmark off-Strip restaurant will offer its annual “Summer in Italy” prix fixe menu, a four-course dinner designed to showcase the lighter, brighter side of Italian cuisine. The menu is priced at $75 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

“Summer in Italy is a way for us to showcase lighter fare and the simplicity of good ingredients,” Executive Chef Mimmo Ferraro recently told the Food and Loathing podcast. “It’s a great four-course menu with a lot of bright flavors — simple, clean.”

Guests can choose from a selection of appetizers, pastas, entrees and desserts. Options include stuffed zucchini blossoms, burrata, spaghetti with clams, gnocchi with pistachio pesto, veal scaloppine in lemon sauce, salmon with pistachio pesto risotto and Ferraro’s signature Osso Buco, available for an additional charge.

Dessert choices include tiramisu, cannoli, gelato and Ferraro’s Pistachio Passion cake.

Ferraro said the menu reflects the way Italian cooking changes during the warmer months, focusing on seasonal ingredients and lighter preparations.

“This time of year, Italian cuisine shifts to lighter and brighter flavors — think zucchini blossoms, seafood pastas, citrus and fresh herbs,” he said. “We designed the prix fixe menu to feel balanced, with each course perfectly flowing into the next.”

The promotion also arrives at a time when many diners are paying closer attention to value.

“You have a lot of people that are still looking for that value and appreciate what we’re giving back,” Ferraro said.

Available nightly from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the Summer in Italy menu is offered dine-in only and is subject to availability. Ferraro’s, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, is located at 4480 Paradise Road, just east of the Las Vegas Strip.
